POPc
(The Philosophers Ontological Party Club)
POPc is a loose affiliation of philosophers who agree to be the performative aspect at one of my installation/party events.
Each of these events is an art installation linked to a publication. The philosophers facilitate conversation with the viewers about the underlying issue in both the installation and the publication.
Art is thinking. And it is thinking about something. The philosophers perform the thinking part of the installation. And the viewers get to participate. It's art as the immaterial idea mashed with and the material object.
POPc events then become LociConvenit: a location where people come together to agree and disagree. They are reproducible - different cities can host the same installation/performance providing its own POPc members from their own universities and/or loose unaffiliated philosophers.
